Home and Foreign Missions

The Assemblies of God Home Missions is dedicated to evangelism in the United States. Currently, Home Missions has over 800 missionaries and over 5,000 field representatives serving in all 50 states. It is a facilitating agency, working through approved personnel to fulfill the intent of the Great Commission with special geographic emphasis on the United States and its population centers, subcultures, ethnic groups, and institutions. Home Missions enlists, approves, and places missionaries called of God to full-time Christian ministry.

The Assemblies of God Foreign Missions is focused on:

REACHING. We are proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ to the spiritually lost in all the world through every available means.

PLANTING. We are establishing churches in more than 150 nations, following the New Testament pattern.

TRAINING. We are training leaders throughout the world to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ to their own people and to other nations.

TOUCHING. We are touching poor and suffering people with the compassion of Jesus Christ and inviting them to become His followers.

Speed the Light

Speed the Light (STL) is the student-initiated ministry that provides transportation and communications equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 150 countries around the world.
STL has its humble beginnings in 1944 when Ralph W. Harris), prayed for a way to give A/G youth the opportunity to help missionaries in their work.

Speed the Light has one guiding principle: All assistance must go to purchase equipment directly related to evangelism (“evangelism” is defined as propagating the gospel and instructing converts). STL equipment has not been nor is presently given for promotion, solicitation, or normal administrative funds.

Thanks to Christian Life Center, our church family, we helped to support 36 missionary families and groups here and around the world.
